World Cup side announce major coaching overhaul after sackings ahead of global showpiece
Uruguay players pack down for a scrum against Spain
Uruguay have announced a major overhaul of their coaching ticket ahead of the World Cup, with a fully homegrown staff now confirmed.
The overhaul comes following the sackings of head coach Rodolfo Ambrosio and assistant coach Juan Figallo last week, with the pair relieved of their duties following a tough Nations Cup campaign in which Los Teros finished bottom of their pool with one draw from three Tests.
Among the wider staff are a number of former Los Teros internationals, with a tally of 473 Test caps in the group.
