Jason Woodward has been ruled out of Bristol's Challenge Cup clash with Bath on Friday.

Woodward took 'n knock after a collision with Teimana Harrison in Bristol's 32-26 defeat to Saints over the weekend and had to leave the field.

Head coach Mark Tainton confirmed after the game that the 26-year-old was subject to a head injury assessment.

"I saw him on the Sunday night and he was OK," forwards coach Mark Bakewell told the Bristol Post. "He wasn't bubbly, let's say, but he was all right.

"He's been fantastic since he's been here and he's brought an edge to us as a group. He's not involved this week but he'll be fine."
