Bath have confirmed the signing of Exeter Chiefs scrum-half Will Chudley, who will join the Premiership club ahead of the 2018/19 season.
Chudley has made over 115 appearances for the reigning Premiership champions since his arrival from Newcastle Falcons in 2012, scoring 15 tries.
The 29-year-old said: “I’m really looking forward to joining Bath next season – it’s a new challenge for me, and one that I’m really looking forward to. Having spoken to Todd (Blackadder), I know how ambitious the club is, which is one of the main factors behind my decision.
“I’m fortunate to have won the Premiership with Exeter and, with the world-class talent in Bath’s ranks, I’m confident that we can put ourselves in contention for silverware over the next couple of seasons.”
Bath's director of rugby, Todd Blackadder, added: “Will is a player who I’m really looking forward to working with. He has that winning mentality having played a key role in Exeter’s success over the last few years, and that’s something which will only benefit the club moving forwards.
“He’s a player with real quality and has shown what a valuable player he is during his six years down at Sandy Park. I have no doubt that he will become an instant hit with the supporters when he arrives in the summer for the new season.”
