Sale Sharks' new signing Rob Webber who joins the club from Bath says he is ecstatic about his new home.
"I'm really happy about the move. My wife and I have settled into a house, and are getting to know the area. We're really excited and very happy to be starting the next chapter of my career," said Webber.
"It was pretty simple. We decided we were going to move on from Bath, which was fine, and Steve got in touch and it things happened pretty quickly.
"Dimes (Sale head coach Steven Diamond) has been great, very welcoming, and helpful. I'm looking forward to being coached by him and getting to know him, and getting to know every one at the club.
Webber will come into the squad in the place of Tommy Taylor. But the hooker believes they are two different types of players "Tommy offers various things, and I offer different things. I hope I can just contribute well to the team, and be myself and influence some games."
The big-front rower says he is happy to be part of a growing team.
"The club is trying to build that fan base and get it full as possible, and that's another part of the experience I want to be a part of, and see the club grow in that sense. It's an exciting place to be," Webber said.
"I don't know too much about the new owners yet, but I'm sure we'll find out more as we go, and we'll get to speak to them. It's always exciting when there's a change, and I'm sure the guys will influence it to the best of their abilities."
