Watson eyes European title

Bath full-back Anthony Watson believes his side can win the Champions Cup this season and is keen to show Europe their credentials on Saturday.

The England international, whose club side host Leinster at the Recreation Ground this weekend, are looking to start the pool with a victory.

Bath didn't play last week against Toulon because of the terror attacks in Paris so this will be their first opportunity to make a statement.

"I'd be lying if I said we didn't think we could win it," Watson told BBC Radio Bristol ahead of facing a Leinster side that lost to Wasps.

"We've got everything we need to be able to do it. It's about us showing European rugby what we can do."
