WATCH: Richie Mo'unga crashes Scott Robertson's last dance

We all knew it would happen. Following the Crusaders’ 25-20 victory over the Chiefs in the Super Rugby Pacific final, Scott Robertson celebrated the win by breakdancing.

Robertson will take over as the All Blacks’ head coach next year, leaving the Crusaders after winning seven successive titles with the side.

Scott Robertson’s last dance

Just about every time he has lifted the title with the Canterbury outfit, he has celebrated by breakdancing and this time, it was slightly different as he got a dance partner!

His fly-half Richie Mo’unga got involved with doing the worm before Robertson got his chance in the spotlight.

It was a fantastic send-off for Robertson, who completes his stint as the Crusaders‘ boss as Super Rugby‘s most successful coach.

Robertson’s record at the Crusaders

He oversaw 117 matches in charge of the side, winning a tournament record of 98 games – surpassing former Crusaders boss Robbie Deans’ record of 89.

They lost just 17 games and drew two of their matches under Robertson as head coach.

He won the Super Rugby title in his debut season in charge of the side back in 2017, becoming just the second coach to win Super Rugby in his first season, following Dave Rennie.

After defending the trophy in 2018, Robertson became the first “rookie” Super Rugby coach to win three successive titles in their first three seasons as a head coach, beating the Jaguares 19-3 in the final.

He went on to win the shortened Super Rugby Aotearoa competitions in 2020 and 2021.

Later in 2021, the Crusaders missed out on the final of the once-off Super Rugby Trans-Tasman due to points difference, with that being the only tournament that the side did not win under his guidance.

The Crusaders became the first winners of the Super Rugby Pacific in 2022 and have now defended the title with the victory over the Chiefs.
