An impressive British & Irish Lions won the first Test against Australia 27-19 at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday to go 1-0 up in the 2025 series.

The Lions scored three tries on the day as Sione Tuipulotu, Tom Curry and Dan Sheehan crossed, with Finn Russell and Marcus Smith adding extras.

Max Jorgensen, Carlo Tizzano and Tate McDermott scored for the Wallabies but they were well beaten in the end with plenty to ponder for Joe Schmidt.
