The 2024/25 United Rugby Championship season continues this weekend with a full round of action which sees two games being played on Friday and six on Saturday.

There are several exciting encounters set to take place with defending champions Glasgow Warriors keen to get their campaign on track at home against Benetton on Friday, after suffering a narrow loss against Ulster in their tournament opener last week.

The big team news concerns the return to action of Springboks Rugby World Cup winner Damian Willemse, who will start at full-back for the Stormers against the Ospreys at Dunraven Brewery Field in Bridgend on Saturday.

Willemse has been sidelined for several months with a finger injury but has been ruled fit for the men from the Cape’s URC opener.

Meanwhile, legendary Ireland front-row Cian Healy has been named in Leinster’s starting line-up for their clash with the Dragons on Friday and if he takes to the field he will make his 281st appearance for the province.

That means he will break Leinster’s appearance record which he currently shares with Devin Toner.
