Tuilagi still has Six Nations chance

England centre Manu Tuilagi will not face Scotland but could play some part in this year's Six Nations tournament.

Leicester centre Tuilagi is included in the Elite Player Squad having last played for England in June 2014, missing the Rugby World Cup last year through a combination of injury and suspension.

New England head coach Eddie Jones is keen to follow Tuilagi's progress after he played his first game in nearly 15 months last weekend for Leicester against Northampton.

Jones said: “We will be without Manu Tuilagi for the Scotland game but we will continue to work with Leicester Tigers and Manu and see where he is as the Six Nations progresses."

Tuilagi has won 26 caps for England since making his debut against Wales in 2011.
