Tuilagi out of November internationals

Leicester centre Manu Tuilagi will be out for a minimum of two months after exacerbating a previous groin injury.

The lengthy time off means the England star will miss the international incoming tour later this year which will be a massive blow considering he hasn't represented his adopted nation since 2014.

The Samoan-born centre was injured during his sides 34-14 win over Bath on Sunday.

Leicester Tigers coach Richard Cockerill is hoping Tuilagi returns to the side as soon as possible.

"Manu will be back within six to eight weeks," Cockerill told The Sun

"It’s tough, it’s tough for everybody. We are going to sort out the player. We want him fit. His groin’s not right, we’re going to get it right. At the moment, we are hoping it’s no more than eight weeks. He’s running, its nowhere near as severe as before."
