Toulon have shored up their fly-half stocks with the signing of former Crusaders playmaker Tom Taylor.
President Mourad Boudjellal confirmed that the All Black fly-half would be joining the European champions, after a deal with Bayonne fell through following their relegation from the Top 14.
Boudjellal did not specify when Taylor would arrive, with Toulon currently deprived of both Frédéric Michalak and Matt Giteau, while Quade Cooper's move remains in doubt.
World Cup joker Willie du Plessis started Sunday's win over Stade Français, while Australian youngster UJ Seuteni is the other fly-half in the squad at the moment.
While Bayonne have missed out on the 26-year-old, they have secured one player for next season, with Fiji and former Toulon centre Gabiriele Lovobalavu returning to the Basque club after they lost Thibault Lacroix to a long-term injury.
