Tackle the debate! Planet Rugby launches new commenting community

Here at Planet Rugby, we always appreciate your patronage, but even more so your views and ability to interact with fellow readers.

With that in mind, we have relaunched our commenting community to provide a more integrated experience and ability to interact with our content, writers and fellow rugby lovers more seamlessly.

Whether you’re sharing with a friend and adding your thoughts or commenting on our social media channels, Planet Rugby wants to encourage positive discussions around our content. And that’s why we have now launched a new commenting system directly on our website.

Here, you can comment on the articles that matter to you the most and those which stir up some feeling that directs you to your keyboard. We want to know what you think, both as a way to inform our content and to grow our understanding of the communities we serve.

We also encourage you to interact with fellow readers, who you will now have the ability to mute or follow, as well as like their comments, reviews and opinions to further grow your egg-chasing community.

Commenting is easy enough to do. All you need to do is click on the comment button at the top of any article and you’ll be redirected to the comments section at the bottom. Here you can add your thoughts and if they agree with our guidelines, it will shortly be posted to the site.

How to set up an account to comment

Our commenting community is now live. To get involved, you’ll need an account on our website. If you’re already registered, then you’re all set up to begin commenting. If not, you’ll need to click the ‘Sign In’ button at the top of our website.

It’s free to create an account. In order to leave comments on websites within the Planet Sport network, all users must register and log in to comment on stories, in accordance with our website Terms and Conditions and Privacy notice.

– All of your community settings can be accessed through the notification bell which is present in the comment section as well as in the sticky header. In this tray, you have the ability to:

– Receive notifications when someone replies or likes your comment
– Receive notifications when a user you follow posts comments
– Receive notifications when there is new activity on a conversation you follow
