Wins for the Sharks and Brumbies on Saturday confirmed the lineup for the 2014 Super Rugby semi-finals next weekend in Christchurch and Sydney.

As the lowest ranked side to make the last four, the Brumbies must travel to Sydney to face the Waratahs, who finished first in the standings at the end of the regular season.

The Sharks meanwhile are heading over to New Zealand to face the Crusaders, who finished in second place.

Jake White's side were victorious at AMI Stadium back in May despite having Jean Deysel sent off in the first half, with Kyle Cooper's try giving the South African Conference champions a 30-25 win.

Meanwhile the Brumbies have faced the Waratahs on two occasions already in 2014 and will be returning to Sydney less than a month after they were thrashed 39-8. They did however defeat the 'Tahs at home back in March, 28-23.

With the Chiefs knocked out by the Brumbies earlier on Saturday there will be a new name on the trophy after this year's final.

The Crusaders are going for an astonishing eighth title, their first since 2008, while the Brumbies are aiming for their third championship.

The Waratahs and Sharks have never won the competition but have appeared in plenty of finals, with the South African side losing out on four occasions and 'Tahs failing twice.
