Sunwolves rest captain Horie

Sunwolves head coach Mark Hammett has decided to rest his captain, Shota Horie, for their clash with the Stormers in Singapore on Saturday.

Takeshi Kizu replaces Horie at hooker as one of three changes to the side which lost to the Western Force last weekend.

Horie, who played a full 80 minutes in all of the Sunwolves' previous matches, has been named amongst the reserves which means Harumichi Tatekawa takes over the captaincy.

The only other alteration to the forwards sees Timothy Bond taking over from Hitoshi Ono in the second row.

This will be Bond's first match since serving a four-week suspension for a late and high tackle on Stormers full-back Cheslin Kolbe in the corresponding fixture in Cape Town in Round Seven.

The final change is in the back-line where Atsushi Hiwasa comes in for Kaito Shigeno.
