It is time for Planet Rugby’s Sunday Social, your quirky recap of the serious and not so serious talking points from the past week’s action.

Some words of wisdom through reflection from the great Alun Wyn Jones. It is all coming to an end for the most capped Test player in the game’s history. Here he reflects on his illustrious career, offering some interesting insights.

Why not take another moment to honour Italian legend Sergio Parisse as he bows out of the rugby world? The number eight is not only one of the greatest in Italian history but one of the greatest to ever play.

HISTORY!! Fijian Drua managed to qualify for the play-offs in their second season of Super Rugby Pacific! It is an impressive achievement and underlines how important their inclusion in the competition has been in their development. Brilliant stuff.

Wallabies great Michael Hooper ran out for his last home game in Waratahs blue. The flank has become synonymous with the franchise and has played the most minutes in its history. It was a big day for him to say goodbye in Sydney.

It is all fun and games until the lads are ripping out bicycle kicks in medicine ball tennis! The Springboks have what appears to be a very competitive activity during their recent training camp in Durban.

That is a crazy collision. Sbu Nkosi was flying through the air majestically before being absolutely rocked into touch. A normal dive would have sufficed but that was not the order of the day during the Barbarians v World XV clash!

Veteran All Blacks and Tonga centre Malakai Fekitoa moves on from Munster leaving a classy message. It didn’t go all his way in Ireland but ended with a beautiful run to the United Rugby Championship title. Memories he will never forget.

Explain what rugby is all about without explaining what it is about. That nails it for this clip as old mates Codie Taylor and Dane Coles wanted to absolutely rip each other’s heads off during the game but shook hands and shared a laugh afterwards.

This one is for the big men. As a rugby fan, how can you not enjoy watching a prop side-step? It is one of those aspects of the game that are so rare they come oozing with beauty.

When your friend makes you follow through with that ridiculous bet you made! That was the case for Ireland’s Mack Hansen who got his coach Andy Farrell’s face tattooed on him after their Grand Slam win. One of the few smiles you’ll see from Farrell.
