Sunday Social: Goodbye to a veteran, a record beckons and great tries

It is time for Planet Rugby’s Sunday Social, your quirky recap of the serious and not so serious talking points from the past week’s action.
A servant of the game and a servant for Gloucester for so many years, Billy Twelvetrees – aka ‘36’ – is cheered onto the field for the last time at Kingsholm as he is leaving the club. The veteran also shaved his famous locks to help raise money for Ed Slater and his battle with motor neurone disease. What a man, brilliant stuff!

Yes, yes, yes! The women’s game continues to take strides in development and growth. OVER 50,000 tickets have been sold for the Red Roses clash with France next weekend and a record attendance will be set. We absolutely love to see it. Fantastic news!

The Scotland scrum really said ‘not today’ as they comprehensively monstered their Italian opponents into the car park. Incredible power and a beautiful sight. One for all the front-rowers out there.

It is ridiculous, it is also audacious, but we absolutely love it! Here is a minute of players ripping try assists between their legs to spark up the end of the weekend. Some of these are so good to watch!
Love a good tunnel ball 😍
Which of these tries is your favourite? pic.twitter.com/G3TvlIM8rm

Literally the only thing he has missed for the last two years! Stick to rugby Antoine, your influencer game needs some serious work. He shamefully missed the Eiffel Tower in this one and looks terribly bothered about it too.
It cannot be scripted. In the midst of a big scuffle with angry words, testosterone and pushes being thrown around, Ox Nche nonchalantly goes and greets RG Snyman on the bench! A priceless moment from the two Springboks who chose to use their time more wisely than their mates did.

Just look at the pace of Alessandro Izekor, who dropped his clutch and motored down the right-hand touchline, even beating a flying Damian Willemse right at the end. Let us not forget Thomas Gallo running like a centre to set it all up. Forwards can do it all these days!
Sometimes you get magic moments in games where everyone forgets their positions and they're just rugby players.
This is one such moment from Thomas Gallo and Alessandro Izekor.#URCpic.twitter.com/rViatpRrhl

Brutal! He has been flattened by a freight train flying through the air! Massive, massive hit, whether he was committed or not is a whole different discussion. The scrum-half will feel that one in the morning.

Ah, another contender for signing video of the year emerges! Brilliant from the Ospreys media team, who take an iconic scene from Anchorman to announce Morgan Morris’ re-signing for the club! Straight out of the top drawer.

A video you didn’t know you needed! Corey Domachowski hilariously gets stuck in a playground chair, and his family laugh at him as he begs for help. To be fair, that’s one hell of a playground chair to hold that kind of weight and show no damage at all!
The video we all needed…Corey Domachowski stuck on a child’s playground seat!
