Six Nations concern for Immanuel Feyi-Waboso as update issued on England star

Exeter Chiefs director of rugby Rob Baxter has delivered a concerning update on Immanuel Feyi-Waboso after the England wing suffered an injury on Saturday.
The speedster was forced off during their 28-10 defeat to Sale Sharks in the Premiership and was seen in a sling on the sidelines.
According to Baxter, Feyi-Waboso appears to have suffered a dislocated shoulder, but they do not currently know the full extent of the injury.
Six Nations concern
It is a worrying sign for the player and the club, while his Six Nations participation could also be in doubt with the tournament just over a month away.
“Initially, it looked like his shoulder popped out but it looked like it went back in pretty quickly.” Exeter’s boss said.
“He’ll be having scans and an assessment as soon as we get back to Exeter. There was nothing untoward – he just landed awkwardly.”
Feyi-Waboso was once again the Chiefs’ biggest threat before he was forced off as they suffered their eighth domestic defeat of the campaign.
Exeter have failed to win a game in either the Champions Cup or Premiership this season after they were outmuscled by the Sharks in Greater Manchester on Saturday.
“We’re just in a bit of a cycle whereby we’re undoing our hard, physical work by being ill-disciplined,” Baxter added.
While England head coach Steve Borthwick will sweat over Feyi-Waboso, one player who proved his form and fitness was George Ford.
The fly-half was outstanding in difficult conditions as Sale kept their top-four hopes alive with a dominant victory.
‘Strategic rugby god’
“George will always take the smarter option – the low-risk, high-percentage play, particularly on a night like tonight,” Sharks director of rugby Alex Sanderson said. “He was like a strategic rugby god out there. I thought he was fantastic.”
Sale will hope their upturn in form continues next weekend when they take on an impressive Bristol Bears, who thrashed Leicester Tigers 54-24 at Mattioli Woods Welford Road on Saturday.
“I’m happy with the five points, although the lads are a little bit frustrated we didn’t capitalise on some of the territory we had in that first 20 or 30 minutes. But I’ve told them to enjoy Christmas and get ready for Bristol,” Sanderson added.
“The forwards enjoyed the physical challenge but I’d like us to be able to play more in the style that we did against Racing 92 last week.”
