Now that the teams for round two of the Six Nations are in, take a look at the matchday 23s for Ireland v Italy, Scotland v England and Wales v France.

The action gets underway in Dublin with Andy Farrell’s men looking to bounce back from the Championship opening defeat to France in Paris.

Team news

Farrell has made several changes to his team following that hammering defeat with Cormac Izuchukwu making his Six Nations bow in the starting line-up while Edwin Edogbo could make his Test debut from the bench.

They face an Italy team without their inspirational centre Nacho Brex who misses the trip to the Aviva Stadium due to family reasons. His usual midfield partner Tommaso Menoncello is now partnered with Leonardo Marin, who started at full-back last week, with Lorenzo Pani now donning the number 15 jersey.

Saturday’s second game sees Scotland host England at Murrayfield with an under-pressure Gregor Townsend sticking by his guns as he has once again omitted Duhan van der Merwe and Blair Kinghorn while benching Darcy Graham. Further alterations include Jamie Ritchie’s return and Nathan McBeth starting ahead of Pierre Schoeman.

As for England, Steve Borthwick has kept the changes to a minimum, sticking with largely the same team that put Wales to the sword. Maro Itoje returns to the run-on team with Alex Coles moving to the replacements with Luke Cowan-Dickie and Jamie George also swapping roles, the latter named on the bench.

The action concludes in Cardiff, where Wales host France and in response to the thrashing in round one, Steve Tandy has made six changes to his team. Two of the alterations come in the front-row where captain Dewi Lake is now partnered by loosehead Rhys Carre and tighthead Tomas Francis.

Fabien Galthie meanwhile has been forced to make changes due to injury with a fresh centre pairing in the form of Fabien Brau-Boirie and Émilien Gailleton. Thibaud Flament also returns from injury via the bench while there is a potential debut for Noah Nene.
