Sharks eager to test combinations

Sharks boss Gary Gold believes that three-time European champions, Toulon, will provide quality opposition for his side.

The former Springbok assistant coach says his charges are eager to test their different combinations.

"We looking forward to this tour. We have had a good pre-season and we are eager to test combinations and get some game time under our belt," Gold said.

"The quality of opposition we will be facing will ensure that we get the necessary preparation we require ahead of the start of our Super Rugby campaign."

A few players, who form part of the Super Rugby squad, have been omitted from the touring squad due to injury.

The 32-men squad will play Toulon on February 5 and February 11, and will end off their tour with against Toulouse.
