Scott Barrett picks two All Blacks who could fit into the NFL after the San Diego Test

Split between All Blacks Caleb Clarke and Tamaiti Williams.
All Blacks captain Scott Barrett singled out two of his team-mates who would suit the NFL after their Test against Fiji in San Diego.
It was a momentous occasion as the two teams met for the first time in the USA in front of a full stadium at the home of the San Diego Legion.
Head coach Scott Robertson was full of praise for the country and how well the game was hosted as his side continued their 100% run under his guidance with three wins from three following the England series.
After the game the tactician was asked if any of his players would fit into the NFL and Robertson revealed that prop Ethan de Groot previously had eyes on the sport.
“Not too sure there are many quarterbacks out there maybe a couple of the old wide receivers,” Robertson said.
“Ethan de Groot wanted to be a defensive lineman but he needs to probably put another few kegs on for that. But hey, if they are going to get those paychecks, well done to them off they go.”

Who would work?
The same question went the way of the captain who picked out two team-mates with Robertson suggesting Pasili Tosi could be added to the list.
“If there were two people to go it’d be Caleb Clarke and Tamaiti Williams, I reckon,” Barrett said.
The All Blacks return to New Zealand and begin preparing for an intriguing Rugby Championship where all four teams start with new head coaches as Joe Schmidt has also recently taken over the Wallabies as has Felipe Contepomi with Los Pumas while Rassie Erasmus has returned to the role he last held in 2019.
It all makes for a fascinating tournament with the best of the Southern Hemisphere fighting for bragging rights and glory.
