Newcastle Red Bulls have signed Scotland prop Elliot Millar Mills on a two-year deal, as the newly bought-out club continues their aggressive rebuild.
The 33-year-old joins from Northampton Saints, where he won the 2023/24 Gallagher PREM final and came off the bench in last season’s Investec Champions Cup final.
The tighthead prop has represented Scotland 11 times since earning his international debut during the 2024 Six Nations victory over Wales.
After a successful spell with Championship high flyers, Ealing, he made his Premiership breakthrough at the now-defunct Wasps, before a brief one-match stint at both Bath and Edinburgh.
Millar Mills will join other stars, such as Exeter Chiefs players Rusi Tuima and Josh Hodge, in arriving at the club in the summer, as well as Argentina lock Franco Molina and All Black international Hoskins Sotutu.

Red Bulls Rebuild
Looking forward to heading to Tyneside in the summer, he said: “I’m really excited to be joining Newcastle at such an important time for the club. They’re going through a full rebuild, and it feels like a great opportunity to be part of something new and ambitious.
“I’ve had a class couple of years at Northampton Saints and I’ve been privileged to play in a lot of big games over the last few seasons. I’m really grateful for that time, and now I’m looking forward to making more great memories at Newcastle and getting to know the new squad up there.”
Red Bulls sporting general manager Neil McIlroy said: “Elliot has been going well for Northampton and Scotland over the last couple of seasons, and will help give us that forward foundation.
“He’s a hard worker who gets on with the basics of the game, and I know he’ll be a great addition during a really crucial period for us.”
