Saili free to play

Munster centre Francis Saili has been given the green light to play for his province this week after a disciplinary hearing on Wednesday.

The Disciplinary Panel was to review a Citing Complaint made against Saili for alleged foul play – Law 10.4 (e) Dangerous Tackling of an opponent – in the Round 15 clash with the Ospreys in the PRO12 last Saturday.

The Disciplinary Panel was made up of Kathrine Mackie (Chair), Roddy Dunlop and Robert Milligan (Scotland) while the player appeared by video link along with his team manager and a legal representative for the province.

The Panel did find an act of foul play had been committed, however, the Panel was satisfied that it did not pass the red card test. Therefore, Saili is free to play this weekend in their home match against the Scarlets.
