Another busy day in the rugby union game as we look ahead to the weekend’s action in the Champions Cup and Challenge Cup with our weekly feature the short side.

The fifth round of the European Champions Cup gets underway with Gloucester v Munster, so check out that preview and our regular feature ‘the short side,’ which looks at the main talking points heading into the weekend.
With the Cherry and Whites taking on the Irish province, we have also looked back to a famous encounter between the two in our Video of the Week, where the Limerick outfit claimed a 33-6 victory in what was called ‘the miracle match.’

The European Champions Cup returns on BT Sport with the channel showing all the games from Round Five. Leinster’s encounter with Toulouse is the pick but also check out Gloucester v Munster, Ulster v Racing 92 and Toulon v Edinburgh, which are crucial matches in the race for qualification.
