Harlequins have added further depth to their squad for the upcoming PREM season and another France Test star is being linked with an exit from Toulouse.

Harlequins sign Zimbabwe Test ace
PREM outfit Harlequins have added to their squad for the upcoming campaign, with the addition of Zimbabwe back Edward Sigauke.
The outside back arrives at the Stoop with 12 Test caps to his name for the Sables, following his debut in 2024, and also helped Emeris University win the Varsity Shield back in 2025.
He becomes the latest fresh face at Quins this season, following James Dun, George Furbank, Harry Johnson-Holmes and Sampie Swiegers to South West London.
Commenting on his move, Sigauke said: “I’m incredibly excited for the opportunity to join Harlequins and everything that comes with it. I can’t wait to get started, to push myself, and both as a player and person within this squad.

Harlequins head coach, Jason Gilmore, added: “Eddie is a player we’ve been tracking, and we’re really pleased to get his signing over the line. He’s got tremendous speed and footwork that makes him a real handful for any defence, and we believe he’s got all the raw tools to become a weapon for us out wide.
“What excites us most is his potential – he’s still developing as a player, and we can’t wait to see how he grows within our environment as he takes the next steps in his career.”
Latest France star tipped for Toulouse exit
François Cros appears to be the latest France superstar linked with a move away from Toulouse, according to reports from Midi Olympique.

Cros has spent the entirety of his professional career with Les Rouge et Noir to date, but it seems he is now set for a move to Top 14 Lyon after reportedly agreeing terms with the club. Montpellier, who Toulouse beat in this year’s showpiece final, were also reportedly showing an interest in signing the back-rower, but it seems Lyon have won the race for his signature on a three-year deal.
His current deal with Toulouse is set to expire in June next year, which would make this his final year with the club. Cros made his Toulouse debut back in 2015, and has since gone on to make 204 appearances in all competitions. In that time, he has also helped Toulouse win five Top 14 titles and two Investec Champions Cups.
He has also become a mainstay in the French Test squad in recent years, tallying 44 caps since his debut in 2019 and winning three Six Nations titles, including one Grand Slam, along the way.
The 32-year-old’s potential exit at the end of the season follows the now confirmed departure of full-back Thomas Ramos, who has put pen to paper on a deal with Racing 92.
