Split with Australia v Springboks and New Zealand v Argentina.

The 2024 Rugby Championship is finally on our doorstep and the southern hemisphere competition gets underway this weekend with two interesting match-ups.

The first of the two Tests sees a resurgent Wallabies side face the world champion Springboks at Suncorp Stadium in Australia. The South Africans have lost a whopping 11 of 12 games at the Brisbane ground since 1996 and will be desperate to buck that trend. While for Australia it serves as a perfect chance to try to rattle a giant.

The second Test pits Scott Robertson’s All Blacks against Felipe Contepomi’s Los Pumas in the capital for the first of their two-game tour.

Argentina have had some success in recent times in New Zealand with their sole win against the All Blacks in the country coming in 2022. Still, the visitors will know it will be a mighty challenge in Wellington.
