Rokocoko staying in Bayonne

Joe Rokocoko is set to stay at Bayonne despite their relegation to Pro D2 last season and interest from the Top 14.

The former All Black winger established himself as a key player at Bayonne, but attracted the attention of both Toulon and Racing 92 according to reports.

The European champions had apparently lined him up as a medical joker for the World Cup, with their squad decimated by international call-ups.

However La Provence are reporting that Rokocoko will stay with his current club in the Basque country, instead of signing a short-term deal elsewhere.
