Chiefs second row Brodie Retallick has been passed fit to face the Crusaders this weekend after a blow to the head in Round 9.

It's the second time that Retallick has suffered a head injury this season, after a clash with team-mate Ben Afeaki back at the beginning of the season.

This time round however the Chiefs were unable to find footage of the incident.

“We've been through the footage we can't even see where he got a knock,” coach Dave Rennie told ONE Sport.

“He just had a really big headache which dissipated pretty quickly after the game.”

Having passed the concussion tests and suffered no damage to his neck, Retallick will now happily take part against the New Zealand Conference rivals.

“The one on the weekend hasn't been anything like that so as long as there's no symptoms showing and I'm getting through those tests alright,” said Retallick.

“I definitely don't want to miss that one, so doing all I can to get back out there.”
