Premiership team news: Harry Byrne set for Bristol Bears debut, Bath pick ‘Bomb Squad’ while George Ford replacement handed first start
Harry Byrne is on the bench for Bristol Bears while Jamie George is set for a milestone game for Saracens.
The Premiership continues this weekend with Round 10 seeing one match on Friday night, three on Saturday afternoon and the final game taking place on Sunday.
Friday’s lone fixture sees Steve Diamond’s Newcastle Falcons, looking to bounce back from a hammering against Northampton Saints, take on Harlequins at Kingston Park.
Then on Saturday recent Bristol Bears loan signing Harry Byrne is named on the bench against Saracens, whose hooker Jamie George is set to make his 300th appearance.
Elsewhere, Gloucester face a George Ford-less Sale Sharks while Leicester tackle a buoyed Exeter. On Sunday Northampton Saints host Bath who go with a 7-1 bench split.
