Premiership: London Irish locks Adam Coleman and Rob Simmons banned, Ben Earl cleared
London Irish locks Adam Coleman and Rob Simmons have both been banned following their match against Saracens, while flanker Ben Earl has been cleared after he was red-carded in the match.
Meanwhile, Joe Marler has been charged for comments made towards Bristol flanker Jake Heenan.
Exiles’ locks banned
Coleman received a four-week ban after being sent off in London Irish’s Premiership win over Saracens.
The former Wallaby was red-carded following a dangerous tackle on Saracens hooker Tom Woolstencroft.
A seriously bad one this on Tom Woolstencroft, really wishing him well 🙏

The independent disciplinary panel deemed the tackle as reckless and warranted a mid-range entry point of six weeks.
He was granted a 30% reduction in his suspension as he had one similar offence in 2021.
Fellow Exiles lock Simmons will serve a one-week suspension after failing to overturn a ban after receiving three foul play yellow cards during the season.
The panel chair Jeremy Summers said of Simmons: “Reflecting the fact that the player had received three yellow cards in just under three months, a two-week entry point was imposed.
“This was then mitigated down to one week to take account of the player’s previously excellent disciplinary record over a 16-year career.”
Earl free to play
Flanker Earl has been named in Saracens’ team to face Exeter Chiefs, where he will earn his 100th appearance for the club.
Ben Earl walks 🟥
Loses mitigation as he tucks his arm, and therefore hasn't made a legal attempt to tackle.
