The semi-finals for the 2025/26 PREM Rugby campaign have been confirmed, following a blockbuster final round of the regular season.

Northampton Saints had already booked a home tie in the knockout stages, but Bath followed them in securing home comfort with a win over Leicester Tigers.

Elsewhere, Exeter Chiefs also secured their spot in the final four with a thrilling 32-12 win over Saracens at Sandy Park, ensuring they returned to the play-offs for the first time since 2021.

That bonus point win for Exeter and Tigers’ defeat at Bath was enough to see the Devonians leapfrog Leicester in the table, with them now headed for the Rec and a West Country derby against Bath in the knock-outs. That fixture has been pencilled in for Saturday, June 13.

The two sides have enjoyed entertaining clashes in the regular season, with Bath edging past the Chiefs 33-26 back in January, while Exeter claimed a 35-12 win in the reverse fixture at Sandy Park last month. This is also the first time the sides have met in a semi-final since 2020, the year the Chiefs last won the title.

As a result, Leicester will now head to Franklin’s Gardens to take on East Midlands’ rivals Northampton, with that clash scheduled for Friday, June 12. Again, the two rivals have also enjoyed some strong tussles against one another this season, with Northampton winning the first meeting 32-26 back in October and Leicester atoning for that with a 41-17 win at Mattioli Woods Welford Road last month.

Elsewhere, Saturday’s results saw Saracens fall out of the play-off picture, with Mark McCall’s side finishing fifth in the table.
