Patchell and Giles link up with Wales squad

Fly-half Rhys Patchell and wing Keelan Giles have been called up, as injury cover, by Wales to join them in New Zealand for the two remaining Test matches in the three-match series.

23-year-old Patchell, who will be joining Scarlets after signing from Cardiff Blues, ahead of the 2016/17 season, has earned two caps for Wales, both while on tour in Japan in 2013.

Giles, 18, is currently part of Wales’ U20 World Championship squad competing in Manchester. The Ospreys wing, who scored two tries in his side’s opening Championship game, will link up with the senior squad immediately.
