More surgery for Halfpenny?

Date published: April 11 2016

Wales and Toulon full-back Leigh Halfpenny is unlikely to return to action this season after reportedly suffering a setback with his injured knee.

The 27-year-old, who tore ligaments in his right knee while playing for Wales against Italy last year, hasn't featured for Toulon this term.

And according to French daily Midi Olympique, it now seems unlikely he will be back playing before 2016/17, as he requires more surgery.

The newspaper reports that Halfpenny may be out for up to three months, which is also a concern for Wales, who tour New Zealand in June.
