Lions welcome back Janse van Rensburg for Blue Bulls match

Golden Lions coach Johan Ackermann has made 11 changes to his team for their clash with the Blue Bulls at Loftus Versfeld on Friday.

The Lions beat Boland 60-12 last week in Johannesburg but Ackermann has been able to recall a few key players for their Jukskei derby.

Blitzbok Kwagga Smith is back after his Sevens duties at the Rio Olympics while Rohan Janse van Rensburg also gets his first start in this years’ competition.
Also back as part of the rotation of the team is Jacques van Rooyen, Lourens Erasmus and Courtnall Skosan.
Andries Ferreira and Sylvan Mahuza could not pass their fitness tests and will not take part in proceedings this weekend.
The starting line-up shows eleven changes to the one that beat Boland at Emirates Airline Park last weekend while the whole bench is changed.
