Lealiifano set to join Ulster?

Brumbies fly-half Christian Lealiifano is poised to join Ulster in a bid to fast-track his return to full match fitness after recovering from leukemia.

Lealiifano was diagnosed with leukemia 12 months ago but overcame the life-threatening illness and featured in the Brumbies' quarter-final defeat to the Hurricanes as a second-half substitute.

According to BBC Sport Northern Ireland, the Brumbies would be happy for the Wallabies pivot to get some much-needed game-time in the Super Rugby off-season turning out for PRO14 giants Ulster.

Ulster chief executive Shane Logan said last week that the Irish province intended to a sign a new fly-half before the start of the season.
