Kriel wins Bulls awards

South Africa outside centre Jesse Kriel has won the Player of the Year award at his franchise the Bulls in a three-trophy sweep for the player.

The 21-year-old, who enjoyed an excellent season for both the Bulls and Springboks, picked up the award at the team function on Wednesday.

Kriel also won the team's Super Rugby Players' Player of the Year and the Super Rugby Backline Player of the Year award at the Pretoria side.

Prop Trevor Nyakane won the Coach's Recognition Award while impressive full-back Warrick Gelant lifted the Junior Player of the Year prize.
