After an off day with the boot for the Chiefs in their shock loss against the Highlanders, Aaron Cruden expects to be back on track soon enough.
Cruden missed what turned out to be three crucial kicks on Friday, handing over the kicking duties to Andrew Horrell who fared no better.
The All Blacks fly-half was the top points scorer in the competition three years ago when the Chiefs won their first Super Rugby title but hasn't matched that form since for the franchise.
Cruden will look to bounce back when the Chiefs face the Stormers this weekend at Newlands.
"I'm not going to get too worried about it, it's still early stages," said Cruden.
"Hopefully some nice kicking conditions in South Africa, so if I put the work in a few more should go through the posts."
