Kerr-Barlow confirms Toulon talks

Chiefs scrum-half Tawera Kerr-Barlow has admitted that he has been in discussion with Toulon about a possible contract with the French giants.

The scrum-half, whose contract at the Waikato franchise finishes at the end of the season, says that he has some tough decisions to make.

"They've been in contact with my agent and that's the nature of the sport we're in, you're always going to get offers," Kerr-Barlow told AAP.

"I have a few decisions to make but we'll just see how it goes."

Kerr-Barlow said that the large financial offer from the French club was a massive incentive to move to France.

"It's up to every individual to make the choice that suits, as we can only play to a certain age," Kerr-Barlow said.

"If someone believes it's in their best interests to take an opportunity, then that's up to them."
