Joe Marler new show revealed as Traitors star promises to make celebrities feel 'uncomfortable'
Joe Marler has revealed his next move following his hugely successful appearance on Celebrity Traitors.
The former England rugby star will be fronting his very own show on YouTube, titled ‘Joe Marler Will See You Now’. Platform Media recently shared a video via social media to promote the show, confirming that the first episode will land on Thursday, November 20.
The release stated: ‘Joe’s always had a knack for reading people & now he’s putting it to use. He’s stepping into the role of an unqualified yet oddly convincing pseudo-psychologist, inviting you into his very own “office”.’
In the accompanying video, Marler speaks to the camera in his trademark mock-serious tone, saying: “I’m Joe Marler, traitor hunter, reader of minds and completely unqualified.
“Have you ever wanted to get deep into the heads of celebrities? Ever wanted to see some totally unregulated psychological tests in action?
“Welcome to my office, where I’ll be making famous people uncomfortable in the name of science and light entertainment. Joe Marler will see you now. That’s me. Joe Marler, I’ll see you now. You.”
The new show promises to showcase yet more of Joe’s unique and dry wit as he combines with other celebrities to delve deep into the psychology of his guests.

Three surprising facts about Joe Marler
1 Mental Health Advocate
As a typically bruising prop forward, Marler portrays an ‘alpha male’ type energy, but he’s used this platform to show that even the most masculine of men can struggle with mental health, and that it’s okay to talk about it. He’s often opened up about his struggles, which include self-sabotage, toxic masculinity and the pressures that men deal with daily. It’s not a subject that he shies away from, and many people have credited Joe with helping them through their own mental health challenges.
2 Author
In 2020, Marler released his book ‘Loose Head: Confessions of an (Un)Professional Rugby Player’, which was an unfiltered look at life inside the sport. In it, Marler opens up about the wild, honest, and often hilarious realities of rugby, from the infamous naked wrestling traditions to his journey from a fiery young lad nicknamed ‘psycho’, to representing England in the 2019 World Cup final in Japan. The book was a huge hit with readers, earning nearly 3,500 reviews on Amazon and an impressive average rating of 4.6 out of 5.
3 Padel Enthusiast
After retiring from rugby, Marler took up padel and has since become an ambassador for the sport, most recently spotted playing at a celebrity padel tournament in London alongside fellow rugby stars Danny Care and Fin Smith. Despite his giant size, Marler doesn’t struggle to get around the court and is still known to banter with his fellow players on the court.
