South Africa helped to heap more misery on France with a stunning 17-32 win in Paris last time out.

The victory was more impressive because the Springboks played over half of the game with 14 men after Lood de Jager was sent off for shoulder contact with the head of French full-back Thomas Ramos.

It is now the turn of Italy to welcome the back-to-back world champions but they will not fear the visitors after a stunning victory over Australia last time out.

The match will be shown on TNT Sports alongside all of the other Autumn Nations Series games on Saturday, November 15. TNT Sports can be added to your Amazon Prime subscription without needing to sign up for a full contract. You can buy a monthly pass to see all of the November Internationals for the next 30 days.

The match will be shown on SuperSport’s Grandstand and Rugby channels in South Africa.

The Italy versus South Africa game will be the first of five international games and kicks off at 12.40pm GMT on Saturday. It will be followed by England’s blockbuster tie against New Zealand, and then Wales versus Japan, France versus Fiji, and Ireland versus Australia in a packed schedule.

The match will take place in Turin at Juventus’ impressive Allianz Stadium where Italy will be hoping to follow on from the success of a massive 26-19 win over Australia in Udine.

South Africa will not be taking the game lightly and Springboks full-back Damian Willemse said: “It’s going to be a super contest and they’ll definitely bring it to us. They are on a high after their win last week and rightfully so. They’ve been playing very good rugby, as we saw in July when they came to SA.

“We managed to get the win in the first game in Pretoria and then in Gqeberha, but I’ve also played for the DHL Stormers in Italy against Zebre Parma and Benetton, and they have good players who have made that step-up. They are also well coached, so it’s going to be a huge battle on the field, and we are looking forward to it.”
