Italy change two for Japan

Date published: June 14 2018

Italy head coach Conor O’Shea has made two alterations to his starting line-up for their second Test against Japan at the Noevir Stadium in Kobe on Saturday.

In the back-line, Jayden Hayward comes into the run-on side at full-back where he takes over from Matteo Minozzi, who shifts to the left wing to replace the injured Mattia Bellini.

The only other change is in the forwards where Jake Polledri comes in on the openside flank in place of Giovanni Licata, who has been relegated to the replacements bench.

The side will once again be captained by veteran hooker Leonardo Ghiraldini.

This is an important encounter for the Azzurri, who are looking to draw the two-Test series after the Brave Blossoms claimed a 34-17 victory in the opening clash in Oita last week.
