Jack McGrath, the Leinster prop, has been cited by an independent Citing Commissioner for allegedly stamping on an opponent.
The incident occured in the Pro12 match between Leinster and Ulster at the RDS last weekend.
The player’s hearing, before an independent Pro12 Rugby Disciplinary Committee, will be held later this week.
McGrath has won 12 caps for Ireland since making his debut against Samoa in 2013.
