The times, dates and venues for the Investec Champions Cup round-of-16 have been announced, starting with last year’s runners-up Northampton Saints.

The English outfit kick-off the knockout stages with a Friday night clash against Castres Olympique at Franklin’s Gardens on April 3.

Northampton were not quite good enough to finish top of their group with Bordeaux-Begles, like they were in the 2024/25 Champions Cup final, proving too strong, but they will hope to get the better of UBB’s fellow French outfit.

The defending champions have to wait until Sunday to play their encounter when Leicester Tigers visit the Stade Chaban-Delmas.

Most of the games are played on Saturday with five in total, including two all-English clashes as Bath face Saracens and Harlequins take on Sale Sharks.

There are two South African teams left in the competition but they both have tricky ties away from home as the Stormers face Toulon at the Stade Mayol and the Bulls visit Glasgow Warriors.

Six-time winners Toulouse are also in action on Saturday when they host Bristol Bears, while the final match of the weekend sees Leinster and Edinburgh go head-to-head at the Aviva Stadium.
