Ulster and former New Zealand utility-back Charles Piutau has revealed that he is enjoying watching the All Blacks as a fan now.
The former Blues stalwart has been Ulster's star player this year and his fine form could have seen him play for the All Blacks if he hadn't moved to Ireland and sign with the North Irish club. But Piutau says he's just another All Black fan now.
"I look at (The All Blacks) now and I'm just another fan, I'm another supporter of the team just enjoying what they're doing, creating history (after winning 18 consecutive Test matches)," Piutau told the Belfast Telegraph.
"It was more life outside of rugby … I wanted to get out of New Zealand, get out of my comfort zone.
"I wanted to get away from things I'm really comfortable with and try a new challenge. Ulster is a great opportunity for me and that's why I took it."
