England have retained 24 players to prepare for Saturday’s Six Nations game against Wales at Principality Stadium.

Leicester prop Ellis Genge and Northampton back-row Teimana Harrison, who were part of the 25 players retained by England last week to prepare to face France, have been released back to their clubs.

Along with the rest last week’s matchday 23 minus Harrison, England have opted to retain Exeter utility back Henry Slade and Harlequins back-row Jack Clifford.

England are unbeaten in 15 matches heading into the game, ostensibly increasing tickets for rugby Six Nations.

“We want to go there (Cardiff) and know that we are going to get better,” said Eddie Jones.

“We have had one week to get a bit of rust out of the system, and we want to go there and put in a pretty robust performance.”
