Full 2026/27 PREM Rugby fixtures confirmed as Northampton Saints begin title defence at home

The full fixture list for the 2026/27 PREM Rugby season has now been revealed, with defending champions Northampton Saints beginning on home turf against Newcastle Red Bulls.
The announcement of the new fixture list officially begins the road to Allianz Stadium, Twickenham for another year, with the final pencilled in for Saturday, June 19.
Northampton come into the new season as title holders once again, having secured their second title in three years by beating Exeter Chiefs 26-17 in the showpiece final last month.
2026/27 PREM Rugby fixtures revealed
The upcoming PREM season will get underway on Friday, September 25 with a double-header, with Saints v Newcastle taking top billing, while Harlequins welcome Bath to the Stoop at the same time.
Elsewhere, derby weekend will take place in round four, while festive fixtures are pencilled in across rounds seven, eight and nine. Big stadium games will also be spread across the season, scheduled for rounds eight, 11, 12, 13 and 15, with the Principality Stadium, Allianz Stadium and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium hosting fixtures.
The run-in also gets underway in round 17, with the regular season drawing to a close a week later.

From there, the play-offs get underway on the weekend of June 12, with the showpiece final scheduled for Saturday, June 19.

“Today’s fixture release is the moment supporters can start looking towards the season ahead – circling local derbies in calendars, planning away days and counting down to the return of the Gallagher PREM.
“From a fascinating opening night clash on TNT Sports between our champions and the ambitious Newcastle Red Bulls, through Derby Weekend, Festive Fixtures and our big stadium events, we’ve built a calendar that gives fans more occasions than ever to get behind their clubs.
“And following a landmark agreement to change our operating model earlier this year, we are well on the way with our plans to expand the league by the 2029/30 season.”
