La Rochelle back Gabriel Lacroix has been called up by France ahead of the next round of the 2017 Six Nations.

Lacroix has been added to the squad to replace Toulouse centre Yann David, who has been sidelined with a thigh injury.

The 23-year-old former France U20 international currently leads the Top 14 with 10 tries in 14 matches so far this season, and has been a huge part of La Rochelle’s rise to the top of the table.

The winger will now be in contention to make his Test debut against Scotland next Sunday.
