England will face France in the World Rugby U20 Championship Final after they beat South Africa and New Zealand respectively in the semis.
Sunday’s final should be a hotly contested meeting with England holding on to edge the Baby Boks 32-31 while France saw off New Zealand 16-7.
England’s four try scorers were Tom Parton, Ben White, Jordan Olowofela and Tom Hardwick, with fly-half Marcus Smith kicking 12 crucial points.
South Africa’s scores came through Muller Uys, Ruan Nortje, Asenathi Ntlabakanye, Manny Rass and Sazi Sandi as they came up agonisingly short.
France meanwhile were too good for the Baby Blacks as they ran out 16-7 winners thanks to Romain Ntamack’s try and Louis Carbonel’s kicking.
In the earlier matches, Argentina overcame Wales 39-15 to set up a fifth place final with Australia, who were too good for Italy, winning 44-15.
Scotland will take on Georgia in the ninth-place final after they saw off Ireland 45-29 and Japan 24-22 respectively at the Stade Aime-Giral.
