England have drafted in Bath-bound back Henry Arundell into their wider training squad for the upcoming France XV match later this month.
The former London Irish man has not been involved with the national side since the 2023 World Cup due to playing in France with Racing 92.
He has 10 England Test caps to his name at the time of writing.
Henry Arundell drafted into England training squad ahead of Premiership return
Arundell enjoyed a strong maiden campaign with the Parisians last season, notching nine tries in 15 appearances following his switch after the World Cup, however, he has been blighted by injury this season.
The versatile back, who can play both wing and full-back, missed five months due to injury this season, but marked his return to full fitness last weekend with two tries in Racing 92’s 47-34 win over Lyon.
He now becomes eligible for the England side after penning a two-year deal with Premiership side Bath, who he will join in the off-season.
As a result, he will now join up with Steve Borthwick’s wider 36-man squad for a four-day camp, which began on Tuesday, ahead of the upcoming France XV match later this month.
The squad does not include any players selected for the British and Irish Lions squad, nor any players from Premiership finalists Bath or Leicester Tigers.
