Ellie Kildunne’s next club confirmed following Harlequins exit

Red Roses superstar Ellie Kildunne will head to Shaftesbury Park next season, signing a deal with PWR outfit Bristol Bears.
The versatile back joins the West Country side from PWR rivals Harlequins, following her exit from the Stoop last month.

Kildunne is arguably the biggest signing in Bears’ history, even following their acquisition of Ilona Maher, with the outside back the cornerstone of the Red Roses side that romped to World Cup glory last year, as well as the 2026 Six Nations Grand Slam earlier this year.
Commenting on her decision to join Bristol, Kildunne said: “Bristol Bears feels like the perfect club for me at this stage of my career.
“The way the team plays is hugely exciting and completely aligned with how I want to express myself on the pitch. The ambition, the style and the belief within the group really stood out whenever I have played against them.
“I’ve always loved playing in Bristol – both for club and country. The World Cup semi-final at Ashton Gate was an incredible occasion and the fans there are hugely passionate and create an incredible atmosphere.
