Earls linked with Saracens

Ireland back Keith Earls is reportedly close to joining Premiership champions Saracens for next season.

Earls appears set to sign a three-year deal with the Premiership giants rather than take up a new contract offer from Munster, according to the Irish Independent.

The 28-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and even though the move may jeopardise his international future with Ireland – Earls trained with the rest of the national squad on Monday at Carton House – he appears ready to make the switch.

Earls has won 46 caps for Ireland since his Test debut in 2008 – the same year he made his debut for Munster, going on to make over 120 appearances for the province.
